MELISSA: People ask me, will I do this again, absolutely. I would do this 100 times again. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Before I had the surgery I was out of breath, I was not able to do the things I wanted to do with my family. I wasn't very confident in myself at all. I didn't think when I looked in the mirror who I was, was pretty. Now not only has it changed my outlook on my outer appearances, but it has definitely changed who I am inside, how I feel about myself, how I feel about life. What I'm able to do physically, I'm able to ride bikes with my daughter without being completely out of breath, I'm able to do things with my husband, go swimming and not be completely ashamed or embarrassed of being in a bathing suit in public. I'm very confident in who I am and who I'm going to be in the future professionally, physically and my family and everything in life.
