FEMALE VOICE: We all have questions and we all go through changes and it's really helpful to have someone to talk to. I think that's one of the strongest things that North Texas Bariatric offers. We all have questions and we all go through changes and it's really helpful to be able to have someone to talk to. I think that's one of the strongest things that North Texas Bariatric offers to its patients is that it's not a matter of, yes you've had your surgery now good-bye, but we really do encourage people to come to the support group meetings, we have them at least every month. Sometimes they're social opportunities, sometimes they're just talks about different things, sometimes we bring in special guest starts to talk to us about issues that are of importance to us. Right now we're currently running first Saturday walks, about 9:00 in the morning. We do about 40-45 minutes of walking and I think anyone who's been in this weight loss thing knows that you've got to do some exercise and you've got to get yourself out and start moving because otherwise just cutting back on calories isn't enough, so getting some exercise in really does help. Plus the fact that Dr. Veninga joins us for each of these first Saturday walks. So we've got our surgeon who's caring enough to be with us and to spend some time to tease and cajole and help us do what we want to do. It's also kind of an impromptu time or a not so formal office visit time to talk to the doctor if there's any questions that come up or anything that you have that might need a little clarification, also if there’s other people there, you can say “have you ever had trouble with…” or “have you ever experienced that…” And then it’s a chance for people to talk.
