Are You a Candidate?
Body mass index (BMI) is the relationship of a person's height and weight. Candidates for obesity treatment at our bariatric surgery program include Dallas, Plano, and Lewisville residents who have a BMI greater than 40 or are 100 pounds (45kg) above their ideal weight. Individuals who have a BMI of 35 to 40 may also be eligible if they have one of five co-morbidities.
Use our BMI Calculator to determine if you may be eligible for gastric sleeve surgery. If you or a loved one's BMI is 35 or above, contact North Texas Bariatric to learn more about how we can help.
